Today is boxing day so the markets are cancelled, it's also raining.

Blacktown Markets reopens on 9/1/11 and North Rocks Markets reopens 2/1/11.

There should be some bargains in January with people selling unwanted christmas gifts.

* I got $5 off on the statue which I have seen at the markets for months, I have liked it for awhile and saw in a shop retailing for nearly $50 so I think this is a bargain.

Notes:
* The chinese lady I bought the elephant from said she had it for 25 years and originally purchased from an antique shop for $125 but is not moving to Perth. I also bought the ducks from her.
* The lady I bought the make up box said its never been used and cost about $115 in the shop.
